Peppol E-Invoicing
Mandatory in Belgium for every B2B invoice between VAT-registered businesses. QuotCraft is a certified Peppol access point.
Since 1 January 2026, Belgian law requires all B2B invoices between VAT-registered businesses to be exchanged via the Peppol network. The transitional tolerance ended on 1 April 2026 β every non-compliant invoice now risks a fine of β¬1,500, rising to β¬5,000 for repeat violations. QuotCraft is a certified Peppol BIS 3.0 access point. You pay per transmission via the pay-as-you-go credits system β no minimum volume, no subscription commitment.

The Belgian mandate β what this means for you now
Since 1 January 2026, all B2B invoices between Belgian VAT-registered businesses must transit via Peppol BIS 3.0. There is no exception based on company size. The FPS Finance actively enforces penalties: first offence β¬1,500, repeat offences up to β¬5,000 per invoice. A valid Peppol invoice is also required to deduct VAT on incoming invoices. Belgium additionally offers a unique 120% tax deduction on costs related to structured e-invoicing.
Peppol Inbox, Outbox and Statistics
QuotCraft provides three dedicated Peppol modules. The Outbox shows every outgoing transmission with six status steps and a SHA-256 checksum per transmission for an irrefutable audit trail. The Inbox automatically receives incoming supplier invoices, downloadable as PDF or UBL XML. The Statistics module shows your monthly consumption, credit usage and delivery success rate. You can also look up any company on the Peppol network by company registration number.
Pay-as-you-go credits and all EU formats
Peppol transmissions consume credits that you top up as needed β no minimum volume, no annual subscription. QuotCraft also supports XRechnung 3.0 and ZUGFeRD 2.x for German clients, Factur-X for French clients, and Chorus Pro for the French public sector. Credit notes are also sent as fully UBL-compliant Peppol documents.
