What is Peppol
Peppol (Pan-European Public Procurement Online) is a European network for exchanging structured business documents. Instead of emailing a PDF that must be typed in manually by your client, a Peppol invoice is a structured XML file that any accounting system can read and process automatically.
The Belgian timeline
Large companies (over 25 employees) must be able to receive Peppol invoices from 1 January 2026. The obligation rolls out to medium and small companies through 2026 and 2027. Sending via Peppol becomes mandatory shortly after. QuotCraft keeps you ahead of every phase.
No setup required
QuotCraft registers your business on the Peppol network on your behalf during onboarding. When you send an invoice, the system checks whether the recipient is on Peppol and delivers accordingly. If they are not yet on Peppol, the invoice is sent by email instead.
