Peppol e-invoicing — included in every QuotCraft plan

Peppol (Pan-European Public Procurement Online) is a European network for exchanging structured electronic documents — primarily invoices. It was originally designed for government procurement but is now being rolled out for all B2B invoicing across the EU.

Instead of sending a PDF invoice by email (which must be manually processed by the recipient), a Peppol invoice is a structured XML file that any accounting software can read and process automatically. This eliminates manual data entry on both sides.

Belgium has been selected as one of the pilot countries for mandatory B2B Peppol invoicing. From 1 January 2026, the first wave is already in effect: large companies must send and receive invoices via Peppol. Medium and small companies follow through 2026 and 2027. If you invoice Belgian businesses, you need to be Peppol-ready now.
